I think he thought Mark 23, the SOCOM USP.

The mark 19 would make a nice home defense weapon though.

Oh yeah, I was blinded by the HK's on your sleeve, and mixed the 19 and 23.

Some things need more than two numbers to get the context going.

OK, another gun pic to bump this back up:

My Ruger 77 Sporter in .270. I liked it because it was a special model made for a specific distributer using the targe gray finish instead of the polished stainless. Shoots pretty well too. Now if I only liked deer meat.

That's a nice rifle, Ratters.

Here's a post-action shot of my drilling. It's tough to shoot, unload, and take a picture while all three barrels are still smoking.

Sweet. What is the caliber of the under barrel? I have one of those russian SXS that I like but it is built like a tank. If you hold the trigger back after firing (like I do with pistols before returning to the reset position) the recoil will fire the other chamber as well. Doesn't tickle.

With the Assault Weapon ban expiring next month does this mean Ca citizens can go out and start stocking on some AR15s and AKs?

The federal ban is expiring. Those of us in California are still screwed. Still stuck with 10 round mags too. Some with a criminal bent might travel to a different state and buy high caps there and bring them back because it would be difficult to prove if you had them before the ban but that would be a felony and I would never advocate such a thing. The only benefit to the federal ban expiring is that I can now put a collapsable stock and flash hider on my AR15. But still can't buy anything new.

I hate the government of this state.

One of the best bets right now is to buy a DSA FAL without the pistol grip as it is legal to do so because it is banned by features, not name. Wait for the Attorney General to put the rifle on the "name" list making it a "Roberti Roos" ban gun and not an SB23 ban gun. AR and AK series are already banned by name so you are out of luck there. You will then have the opportunity to register it as a Roberti Roos ban gun and then can add any evil feature you like.

That or buy an M1a and be happy with it.

Thought you were confused before?

This one is chambered in 16x16 gauge, over 9.3x54R. It has double triggers, and external hammers, so I can cock and fire only the barrel I want to fire.
If I cock both barrels, it might fire both, even when only one trigger is pulled. It was made around 1920, so I figure it just needs to be treated with caution. I want to use it in a Cowboy Action shoot, though.
