Had my bike painted

My supermoto's plastics were all scratched up and so I decided to have it painted. That -- and i've never seen someone paint a supermoto before

I don't ride dirt, so hopefully I can keep it shiny for a long time

Our resident hero/superstar/painter Lukky did the work. Real pro quality. If you've seen his bike, you know my stuff is in good hands.

Can't really see the metallic flakes unless you're looking at it with direct sunlight.

I didn't want to paint my aftermarket plastic tank, as i'll probably replace it with a stock metal one.

The four holes are for an aftermarket windscreen.

rear shot. I also installed some new LED signals, as the stockers are quite weak.

smmoooooottthhhhh....

I'm very happy with the result and since I also ride a Ducati, I need to roll with some bling wherever I go.

Sweet!

One problem, though.

Just by reading the DRZ forum at Thumpertalk It seems lot's of DRZ owners ride both with the same bike. They just get an extra set of wheels and swap when needed.

I know for a fact, a lot of crazy supermoto riders here take their bikes in SM trim (street tires and all) and go ride dirt.

SM is 30% dirt. It's part of the deal.

Wanna see crazy mofo's, ride with my buddies from Santa Cruz Moises and Tom. Moises is an old BMX friend of mine from Junior High and things just don't change.
