Wow! The 3-D stuff is cool. You can really see how 243 winds through the side of the mountain. I might ride from Banning to Big Bear one of my days and ride Rim of the World Drive. Planning to go to Borrego and Mt. Palomar tomorrow. It is another sunny day today, warm enough to ride at 8am.

Big fun. I've backpacked all through those mountains, but never did much riding in them.

The 3d map is awesome. Where did you get that?

Warm enough to ride at 8am?

We had 5 inches of snow yesterday. I'm just hoping the snow will melt enough to get out my driveway to the main road by early next week so I can go for a ride!

And the maps- that's Delorme.com 3-D mapping program. I bought the cd used off ebay for like $30 bucks. Really a fresh perspective to add to the pashnit site. Takes lots of memory, and time comsuming though, takes about 30-60 minutes to create each map, but really shows the route! I've added a handful of them thus far to the site.

Mike- if you head up that way, shoot some pics for me if you stop along the way and there's anything of interest. I'm really curious about how the fires affected everything down there. Since that's a pretty permanent thing and those are some well-known rides you mention, I feel as though I should add something to the applicable webpages about the affected areas if it merits mentioning.
