Mine is - closer to ready He got his chain changed, oil changed, calipers cleaned, brakes bled, wheels put on, everything tightened down and to the point of being able to start (plus a couple other small side things as I went, including deep cleaning everything I could reach and everything as it went back on).

Tomorrow still has an outstanding to-do list though

My bike is ready, but I still need to inventory and pack the trailer with tools, canopies, etc.

Also have a training / planning session with Dave aka The Butcher and I’m excited to define my racing goals and how to achieve them for 2019

Those leathers of Stanton’s are the best investment made.
Remember, he’s STILL #53 too.

Fuck yeah, it’s like getting iron mans suit!!! He’s going to be at Sonoma on Sunday helping me out as coach/ crew chief

He couldn’t believe that I was running an 85 rate spring in the rear with me at 230lbs geared up and 16 clicks of compression

Chassis and suspension setup are my number one priorities this year, I gots some learning to do

Today with Daves help we discovered that I was running far too soft shock valve stacks for my bike, in addition to the eye to eye length being 10mm too short

Soo, shock is back in the mail overnight to GP for a revalve before this weekends season opener with PTT at Sonoma

Hope you got that shock ready!!!

Just finished most of my packing today. Seems to be a bit of difference in how long it took me to get ready this time! Like a few hours longer than before! I seem to be accumulating a lot more shit!....

It gets delivered tomorrow morning and I will install it tomorrow when I get home, around 6pm. Might be a late night

Turns out I had the wrong shock altogether!! Fortunately GP kicks ass and overnighted a brand new shock to me

The packing will get faster... though you may always be accumulating more each time

holy shit. all that plus your spring change is going to make a HUGE difference. the wheel will probably be 30mm more extended in certain riding circumstances. u are probably in for a shock, no pun intended

Man thats crazy.. 9pm? I wonder what they had going on... usually by 5-530 were going through the gates

Sonoma should be open by 5pm , and they usually have someone at the gate til about 1030pm. All else fails give them a call to make sure

Have fun tomorrow fellow Barf'ers ... im going to miss out on this opener, but I got one lined up for the 11th

I’m just glad that it’s not just me being a pussy ass bitch in waiting so long to go WOT, the bike really did just want to wheelie!!!! And never wanted to hold a line, as soon as the throttle opened I went wide... it was good practice on how to make time with the front end... and what a shock should not feel like lol

It’s like Christmas Eve tonight except I have to put together the LEGO set before I can go to sleep, and if I have pieces left over I’m going to have a bad day lol
