Anyone have experience with Motorcycle rentals in Europe?

Does anyone know any good companies in Europe to rent motorcycles from? I am thinking of Italy or the UK possibly. I have found some, but they are really pricey. I have also looked into buying a cheap bike to use there and then selling or storing it when I am done. Does anyone have any experience or know someone that does? Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I rented a sportbike in London at raceways.net three years ago........full report

There is also a company called ADMO tours which operates in many cities in Europe.

I just got back from the UK where I rented a motorcycle for 9 days from Raceways in London. Good service. Great trip. Photos and report coming soon.
Cost was 295 Pounds for 9 days (including tank bag rental).
That came out to $59 per day which isn't bad considering that it's unlimited mileage, includes comprehensive insurance and road recovery.. The biggest shocker is the price of gas which is about $5.50 per gallon of regular.. I'd do it again for sure though !
