I spotted an accident on the top of Hwy 33 and tried to capture the incident. From what I could tell it looked like a motorcycle accident but I can't be sure. Hope no one is hurt that bad.

Hey great pics. I did that ride a few weeks back. Down to Burbank not San Diego but I took Highway 33, 198, PCH, saw the Rock store. . . blah blah blah. Just under 1100 miles on a ZRX1200. It was awesome. Looks like you had a good time. Too bad the weather did not cooperate for you. -kidding-

Hey Thx and Yeah... the Palomar was too cold and lets not forget the wind. But my next So Cal trip would include Angeles Crest Hwy.

Thats a beautiful ride. I did most of those same roads during my spring break 2 months ago except instead of 25 south, I took the coast to highway 58 to highway 23. 58 and 23 are two of the best roads I've ridden so far. Sucks that the weather wasn't cooperating at palomar for you. When I rode it the temp was 80 degrees and sunny. Thanks for the write up and pics, it reminded me of my ride and got me itching to do it again.

thanks outa-control for the great pictures! I definitely need to spend some more time in the lower half :grin

(Until a couple of years ago I never would have guessed that photo's of curvy pavement could induce an adrenaline rush )

Aww man, you ended up on the PCH in Malibu and didn't hit up Latigo canyon? One of the coolest mini-loops in all of southern california!

Cool pictures though-- makes me really want to get a camera now so I can actually show people places I've been instead of telling them "So there I was..."

Thanks Morth. I did plan on it but I knew I would run late coming back in. But I will someday.
