Sonora Rally: Ricky Brabec, Honda, and the other side of the moon
"The American wins the Rally on the border between Mexico and the USA for the fourth time. Great debut of Skyler Howes with Husqvarna, third for Ignacio Cornejo."
moto.it, May 16, 2021

tl/dr; Italian lyricism:
Quote:
Beyond the galaxies of Africa, Asia, Saudi Arabia and South America, there is another Rally-Raid planet that palpitates with a soul of strong passion of its own.

It is the world of the American desert off-road vehicle , and Mexican border, with its own charm and powerful characterization.

Great Champions were born and are born from the Races of those Deserts, who nevertheless only rarely crossed the ocean to come to collide with "us others".

Similarly, few "Westerners" have visited that planet, limiting themselves to some valuable sortie, mostly of the value of a "guest" of some Star of our home.

"Dakar Rally 2022: Route, Location, Date, Everything You Need To Know," posted here.

From his Instagram account. Older steel frame WR450F is proof you donít need a fancy new KTM.... though he is a beast of a rider. Maybe we can convince him to write up his experience as he isnít very active. Donít know much more, but will surely be asking about the experience next time I see and ride with him. Seriously impressed, awesome accomplishment.
