Next 140 miles gone

The Curvy Road Next 140 miles sign has been replaced with a Trucks Entering sign. There is a 130 mile sign 10 miles west of there but there is no pull out for staging a picture. Bummer.

I saw someone post a picture of the new sign on 36, I was wondering what happened. I'm going to be riding 36 this weekend so I'll check it out.

Bummer.. epic photo spot.

I used it for my zoom background on my Bone radio deal a month ago.

Was there one on the Fortuna side? I thought so, but nobody (including me) seems to photograph it. If there was, it it still there?

Never one on the west side, at least that I've ever seen.

No there isn't a good sign on the west side.

The sign was on the west side of 5 but the west end of 36, Ferndale end, never had a sign.

Yes technically the side of 36 we love is the west side of 5. But there is no glorious 140 miles of twisty sign on the western terminus of 36 near Fortuna.

I pulled over quite comfortably on the east side to snap a pic of the 130 miles sign. I know it’s not the original but it did it’s job.

Don't tell anyone, but I am working with the county shop to get the 36, twisty arrow and the next 140 miles made for me. I will be using them at bike shows and for photo ops for friends.
