Race calls on PA

I'm probably not the only one having issues hearing PA/calls for practice groups and races.

I believe there used to be a radio feed available, can someone point me to the correct station, either FM or AM? I'll bring a radio along next time.

Motorcycles turn by harnessing the pure power of awesome directly from the soul of the multiverse. Motorcycles make physics their bitch.

In an ironic twist, Barb announces the FM channel over the PA Saturday morning, haha. I believe it's 88.5 FM at Buttonwillow, but you can always ask AFM staff or go right to Barb at Start Finish if in doubt. I do feel like AFM could do a better job of publishing the FM channel, when available, in more conspicuous places.

This only works on an old fashioned radio I guess. It didn't work on iPhone radio app

Note that this only works at Buttonwillow. Thunderhill does not (and, likely, will not) have a working system for FM broadcasts.

The FM broadcast is just a local low power FM broadcast: it will not work on any app based solution without a physical FM receiver on site.

Not to mention the kart track PA was super loud during the first round. So you have to really pay attention if you are pitted in the vicinity of the Kart track. They will have another event at the Kart track rd 2.
