Van Camping (vanamping) at Buttonwillow
I haven't been to Bwill in many years. I am going to the YCRS for a one day, this weekend. Heading down Sun afternoon.
Is there shore power that I can plug into for van camping and then tire warmers the next day? I know there are RV spots that are not free, but I don't need that. TIA

I haven't been there in a while, but as memory serves... no. Only if you can manage to plug into a garage somewhere.

Yeah, that's kinda what I thought. Was going to bring the gennie just in case, but seems like I'll need to use it.

Correct, Buttonwillow has no public power. If you want to plug in you'll need to either rent a garage or a RV space, or bring your generator. The RV spaces aren't very expensive but would be overkill if you're just running warmers and already have a genny.

I did a track day with my electric bike and I had to pay to use the power it's not nice like Thunder Hill. I wound up renting an RV space. I think it was $20 it was worth it was able to charge my bike. There wasn't too many people renting a space. Everyone else just camped wherever for free I needed the 240V power. If you have your own generator I wouldn't bother.
