First gen SV650 track bike - BARF

I bought this a few years ago on barf and got it ready to race, then only rode it like 3 days. The suspension was refreshed and revalved for 200lb rider. Tires have one race in October 2019 on them.

Has pistons, cams, flatslides
Ohlins shock
trimmed down harness
quickshifter
slipper clutch
GSXR front end
Brembo master
GSXR rear wheel
Lithium battery
Typical SV aesthetics... I meant to paint it but never did.

I don’t know... $3k ?
$2k I keep the slipper, brembo and quickshifter for other projects

These bikes are so fun for so little...and are always tempting when they come up. Any chance you’d trade for some fancy Swiss watches?

Someone buy it and go give those new Aprilias hell for 1/3 the price!

It might not win a beauty contest but last time we were out on this J ran a 2:04 on it at THill.

It is a solid bike and hauls the mail.

It was a 2:02

Apparently I am banished to unload all the bikes and equipment next round by myself.

You'd think if Ed wanted to help he'd say it was like 1:50s! But I'm happy with it having not twisted a throttle in anger in like 15yrs, it's an easy bike to get comfortable with.

Bump for some sunny skies and warm tracks.
