BAM BAM! I think I need to order another Troy Lee Designs jersey and maybe even a Gas Gas bike.

Talk about a 450 field of epic proportions. Only two riders that finished in the top 15 of the main that don't have a championship to their name. 450 series Champions battling to make the top 10. Its insane how good the field is! Only rider missing was Baggett.

Christian Craig is a rocket on the new Star Yamaha. All the heavy hitters are in the 250 east which should make it a great battle for the championship. Huge shout out to NorCals own Max Vohland, the 17 yr old from NorCal making his supercross debut finishing 9th. He is a true rookie... racing amateurs only 3 months ago and wasnt supposed to make his Pro Debut for another year or so. Folks that are fans of racing will remember both his father and uncle... fast pros in their day.

Great night and get to see them race again Tuesday!

Yep, Bam Bam was on it and Roczen made him work for both his heat and main win. Three seasons in a row opener wins for Bam Bam. The Red Bull three-peat Anaheim video spoof put out before this weekend probably didn't lower the pressure or expectations on Bam Bam.

Not quite the Dungey, Decoster, KTM first win moment. Cool none the less. The red KTM Gas Gas bikes are good looking.

Track was opposite of technical which really bunched up the times deep into the field and may have affected results. Expected more of a roller derby type race, but it didnt materialize. There were some good battles to watch.

45 minutes to race time!

Nearly 15 guys within a second or so in qualifying for the 450s. AC and Sexton on top. Track again isnt super technical, though slightly altered from Saturday. Whoops were completely broken down by end of qualifying. Hopefully they rebuild and not just reshape before race time.

Craig lead qualifying for the 250s again. He looks on like he is on rails..... the Star YZ250F seems to have made him a new racer. Much bigger gaps in times for the 250's with only three riders within the top second, Colt Nichols and Jet Lawrence.

Making dinner early with desert and snacks so I dont need to move for the next three hours....
