Thanks Berto!

I got it over to Jesus at daredevil who's gonna get it all rebuilt and teach me how to do it. Plus i'd been in contact with Brisa over email getting things together so i could get it done myself, unfortunately with work, and moving all slamming together right before round 1 i ran out of time to do it.

There was another Barfer at the supercamp...

Supercamp was a blast. Best part was after you get to twisting the throttle and rear braking they throw some water on the track and its literally like riding snot! seriously it would be like riding in snow.

SO it was really good for just getting your bearings on tire slippage, eyes up, rear brake usage, keeping feet up while sliding the rear end around corners, etc...I was a bit sore the day after.

Cam Peterson and Jake Gagne were there. I spent some time talking with Jake on how he uses the rear brake as well as how they modify them for track and race use. Couple other guys there as well but those are the two I gravitated too....

Ultimately, I would say the crew that was there helping made the event a lot of fun and learning. They were really great....

This evening I took the cover off my race bike, poured in a 1/2 gallon of fresh 7-11 gas, and made sure it started. Warmed it up and changed the oil. I thought about changing the front brake fluid since it sat all winter, but the lever felt pretty good, so fuck it.

And that will conclude my 2019 preseason prep. See ya'll this weekend.

My offseason prep so far is all this:
1. new radiator cap: bike overheated last time out
2. leakdown test: checking to see if head gasket caused overheating
3. new front brake reservoir: they become brittle with age
4. new brake lines and new fluid: front line was rubbing on the fairings too much and the fittings rotate too easy
5. helicoil tank mount holes: stripped from use
6. flush radiator: some corrosion is probably what broke the radiator cap and caused the overheating.

of course, I managed to break my vacuum bleeder and get brake fluid everywhere yesterday. so im not done yet!
