It was an interesting race fore sure. Nice to sea Petruax get a win this season. It seems like AM needs water to thrive. Disappointing to see Oliviera and Dovis tires fall off so hard on the last few laps. Also was hoping to see Mir pick up a few more places. But it be what it be. Poor runs was looking good for a bit but he's had a habit of doing this, he gets in a real good rythem and just seems to want more and more as the bike wants a little less

(Pedrosa had a similar incident on a MotoGP grid a few years ago and was sent to pit lane.)

There is some confusion about whether the rules say Roberts was then supposed to start the race from pit lane or from the back of the grid. Race officials released him to do the warm-up lap after the entire grid had already left and then started the race before Roberts could complete the warm-up lap. That seems like a fuck-up and it will be interesting to hear the details as to why this happened.
The way it worked out probably benefited Joe since he essentially got a running start off of T14.

Either way, impressive finish to the weekend for him to start from T14 and then fight through the grid to finish 6th.

If AM won would have been the first time the winners name did not appear in the poll. The rookie rode really well.

Just watched Moto2. WTF. Was looking forward to seeing what JR could do today. Obviously had the pace. P6 is impressive.

Iannone has called a press conference for tomorrow in Milan. Only a few journalists will attend due to pandemic restrictions. Aprilia CEO Massimo Rivola will be there along with Iannone's attorney. The decision on his case is not expected until later this week so the timing seems odd.

Aprilia probably know the outcome of the verdict and will probably either announce a contract extension or a new role as test rider. The ceo of ape wouldn't be there to announce that he wouldn't be continuing with the team

Press conference in Milan so they are probably announcing a new line of Andrea Iannone signature edition Aprilias with all his tattoos for graphics.

Bummer about Rossi, that hurt. Good to see Petruxx win a race for a change.
