unknown make, but the motor is a "SCOT HALF HORSE" and doesn't really conform to modern electric motor standards though it's pretty close. safe to say this thing is somewhere in the 80-100 year old range.

it looks like a Buffalo Forge 15, but there is a "16" on the side of the head casting and no script "buffalo" so i don't really know

Bench top drill press in pretty decent shape. The motor shop said "motor works, grounds to frame" which is quite the oxymoron to me but electricity isn't my bag. the conclusion is that the motor needs replacement or a rewind as it immediately trips all the GFCI outlets i've tried.

as this is a woodworking oriented unit, repair ($$$$) or replacing ($$) the motor doesn't pass the cost/benefit evaluation
i've drilled plenty of holes with it in wood, aluminum and steel up to about 1/2 inch. i want to go bigger, and it needs to go slower to do so, so here it is

5 speeds
it's about 36" tall
~6" of stroke on the quill
work table adjusts up the column, but i usually use spacers. the table, like the rest of this machine and your mother in law, are HEAVY and the table has no geared lift.
the table has an Arc of Shame but i swear i didn't do any of them, and it's pretty flat otherwise.
