Looks like he jinxed himself. He'll miss the race, but at least they're saying he's okay.

I'm worried. I told a few people I'd kiss Marcs taint if he won his first race back. I'm resting my lips right now....

That was interesting MM93 in Q1. We'll see how it goes. It's about what I expected, he's not superman, but I certainly don't write him off.

The question is whether he just became human.

Edit: He is still pushing the front hard, so that makes it more interesting.

2/3 of the way through Q2, MM appears to be favoring his right arm, in the paddock. Still hasn't gone out.

Not liking that rule regarding the yellow flag. I don't think it is having the desired effect.

Lot of ugly crashes this weekend including three of the Hondas. Jorge Martin tweeted from the hospital that it was not his best day. Hope he has a speedy recovery but no need to be a hero and come back too soon. The MotoGP race still looks like a toss up.

Hard to call Moto2. So many riders matching last year's race pace in practice and qualifying. Hope Joe and Cam get good starts.

Some of those yellow lights are so hard to see and so far away that it is kinda messed up. Reminds me of Laguna, where flags at the start finish bridge are so hard to see and go by so quick.

MM93 qualified 6th while only taking a single hot lap. He had his out lap, one hot lap, and then blew a line on his second flyer.

He appeared to be having some discomfort with his right arm, so we will see if he can make it race distance.

MM93 was definitely favoring and rubbing his arm, and that's not a good omen. If it's not a mind game fake, he's not going to race pace an entire race, and it's going to be a difficult decision for him. What I suspect is that his arm and shoulder simply aren't ready for that kind of stress and are telling him so. If that's the case, he has to decide whether to try and gut it out, or pull out early, which might be smarter.

Or he may be playing games. His practice showed that he's still aware of what race pace is, but may not be able to maintain it. The worst thing he could do is try and macho a fast start. Warmup tomorrow should tell us more.
