Shimano Dura Ace 7400 parts

I'm looking for a 7 speed Dura Ace 7400 cassette for a 1987 road bike. Original was 13 to 23, which is brutal for me. I'll take whatever I can get. What do you have lying around?

Try bikeforum. They are great for this kind of stuff.

Is the freehub body Uniglide only or will it take a Hyperglide cassette too? I ask because many of them were compatible with both and if yours is, then you can use any modern 7sp cassette you like. Alternatively, consider a second rear wheel just for this purpose if you don't want to go the route of trying to find an old cassette that's in good condition.

The wheels are set up for Hyperglide. I found a cassette for a good price and should have it in about a week.

There was never a DuraAce 7-spd Hyperglide cassette. First Dura-Ace Hyperglide was 8-spd.

FH-7400 = 126mm, 6/7-spd Uniglide only, DuraAce only spin-on 1st cog, available in 11t

FH-7402 = 130mm w/domed locknuts, 8-spd Uniglide only, DuraAce only spin-on 1st cog, available in 11t

FH-7403 = 130mm w/domed locknuts, 8-spd Uniglide AND Hyperglide. Threaded 1st Uniglide cog is compatible with non-DuraAce cassettes. Or use Hyperglide with lockring.
