x 1,000 glad you made it out with just a missed day's ride and minor damage to your truck. I suppose your buddy's immediate need for new pants might have been collateral damage

How does Georgetown compare to Forest Hill? I have only been to Forrest Hill up there. I thought it was a really good place for me to take my wife to ride. She rides a ktm 150xcw and I am looking for a more easy place to ride like Forrest Hill was

ive only been on some really nasty trails thereabout when I was going when I hit that deer, i was gonna take a newer is rider so we were going to ride trail 1 to trail 2 and back, staging at mace mill, recomended from a friend who rides there often said it was more newb friendly in that area

Forest Hill is better marked and lets the rider choose the difficulty of the trial. Forest hill also has more blue level trials. The problem with Georgetown is the trial can go from blue to black without any warning and the trials aren’t marked as well.

Perfectly said! I’ve been to both and really like GT but then again, I know what to stay away from too. Chalk Bluff IMO is better out of the three for fun flowing trails . GT is great to get a nice 35-45mi ride but you have to know where you’re going as the system is vast as spread out. Chalk Bluff, there are three main loops you can do and they’re all great.
