Cool Forbes traveler's 10 Legendary Rides

Even though there are some great roads presented I was surprised that Hwy 36 nor Ave of the Giants were not included on the list. And I've ridden Palomar in June a couple of years back and I would have to disagree on their choice. I guess the writer did not bother checking Pashnit out first but someday I am going to ride through Glacier National Park. This has been on my "to ride" list for a long time and now this has sparked my interest again.

already a thread in here on that article I believe with peoples thoughts on each.

The glacier ride is pretty nice, but I wouldn't call it the best.....

I have been kicking myself for a year that I didn't take the extra time to get to it on the way back from Banff. It's definitely one of those places that if you do one (the Canadian Rockies), you might as well do the other as well (Glacier National Park), and vice versa.

Good article - hadn't seen that. I've done three of those. Guess I've got a few more to do.

After around 100,000 km in Oz, I am happy to say I clicked off most of these: http://motorcycleparadise.blogspot.com/

Forbes article says the US is the "undisputed wonderland of roads." Well, maybe in quantity. But I'd put up any ten of the roads listed in that Oz site against the best ten in the US any day of the week. It just doesn't get any better than down under.

I finally went to Glacier NP last Sept.........it's nice an all but I think I built it up in my mind so much that I found myself sightly disapointed when I got there.

Don't get me wrong, it's cool and all but it ain't all that.
