Alan, that photo inspired me to finally buy the pistol grip for the under ejecting brolin 37 KidRR gave me. $20, shipped! I'll take pix when it's done. I'm going to paint it OD Green I think? :P
Sure - it's a good deal and it's a fun little pistol. But I like the CZ more and the fact that it has a .22 conversion is pretty damn awesome...

My co-worker just bought (ordered) his first gun, a CZ SP-01. And a fellow competitor also bought one. Hmm they sure are getting popular. I won a certificate for a CZ but I sold it when I realized how much it would cost to upgrade to a SP-01 then upgrade it to be race worthy.

As far as decockers go... Get a decocker if you #1 want to carry double action (hammer down) and #2 don't want to manually lower the hammer (a la original CZ-75). Don't get a decocker if #1 you don't want to carry DA and/or #2 you like everything else about the pistol so much you don't care about the decocker.

Make sure it stays over 26" overall to keep it legal. I think the pistol grip is legal, but if the overall length falls under 26" it's considered a short-barreled shotgun (even if the barrel is 18"). Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

No idea who makes the pistol grip by the way, but the setup looks damn cool.

Interesting comments on penetration being the important factor - not "knock-down" power.
I have personally seen better penetration in a kevlar vest by a 9mm round than 40/45. Penetration is very lethal even if not immediately.

You'll lose the DROS fee, though, and then still have to pay for the new DROS for the next gun.

So you might as well take the Sig and then get the CZ too.

I think I'll just suck it up for now and borrow Mirans a few more times

But that SP01 and a Kadet conversion would be bitchin!

I picked up my Sig P220 on consignment from Irvington Arms in Fremont. $700 for almost-new, with 6 mags (5 by Sig, one off-market), a Bianchi leather duty holster, and a Bianchi leather duty 4-mag pouch. Hell of a deal. Normal retail for the P220 (oh, and iridium sights...) was $1100.

Don't be hatin'....

Judging by the way things are going, it sounds like there may be a CZ in Uhmeebuh's closet 30 days from now.

It's okay Uhmeebuh, we all get the sickness. The good thing is, there is no cure. But you can stave off the symptoms by buying more guns.

It seems like Mike T has a natural born immunity.
