I think the first time I took wheels in to get new tires I left the spacer on there. I've since learned to remove all of them before going for new tires.

Now its Santa Clara Cycles. You can drop off the wheel or the bike. Rear wheel is easy on the BMW, front still ok.

They have a good stock on hand and you can bring your own.

The only shop I trust with my prized RC45 is Ken Englert's Steel Horse Fab located in Suisun City...
I've known Ken since 1972 when we were in the USAF... he is meticulous as I am...

Larry,

I checked out the Steelhorse Fab website and it looks like the are a retail business. Sounds like they mount/balance tires too. Are they a full service shop?

Ken works out of his garage and is set up for full service... you'll feel welcome as a friend and your bike will be cared for as if it were his...

Another vote for Santa Clara Cycle Accessories in the South Bay. If you bring in just your wheel and buy the tire from them they'll mount and balance it for free. Always had good luck with the turn around time too.

+1 for Santa Clara Cycles

I've changed 3 sets of tires with them already and I've received great service every time.

There was one time where we had a mix up on the tire sizes when they ordered and they ended up giving me a great deal on another set of tire that they had in stock instead. Can't beat that level of customer service.
