'06 Musang GT (I like to think it resembles a '69-70 - probably faster, handles better, more reliable and yet gets 20 mpg)

I DD a '98 Cobra, and I have three foxbody convertibles (one runner, two parts cars). I'm an atypical Mustang owner, though - I autocross 'em, and the Cobra's last bath was at the beginning of last summer, and I've NEVER washed my running fox, hahaha.

I'm trying to get into autocrossing but don't know where to start. All my mods have been suspension related tho like a built IRS and coilover all around. I love the feel of twisties (stinson beach -> pt reyes) but wanna get a few higher G runs^^

![]() Your best resource for local autocross is probably http://www.baautox.com/forum/index.php. I'm not on there, but I probably should be. Your best bet to get started will be a bone-stock car, but don't worry if you've already got some mods. Just don't expect to be competitive in whatever class they put you in, especially if it's an SCCA event. Their classing is ridiculous. |
