Got water polo tomorrow at 6 so can't do 3 tomorrow much as I'd like to. I'm back on a Monday - Thursday 9-8 schedule.

Ugh. I want to be good at golf so bad! Shot a 95 today. Need to reel in the "duff's" or mis-shots. When I do make contact, its generally playable. My irons could be a little more accurate, but making better contact with them. My short game has greatly improved, fortunately; ie, chipping within 75 and putting from anywhere.

Guess I need to practice more. Just feel like a big net and a mat will be misleading...?

I'm just starting to play after a 20+ year lay off. Went out cold turkey on Friday in a best ball tourney. I'm focusing the memories on the good shots.
The clubs I have are a bag full someone gave me to use. Just ordered irons from Golf Mart/Dublin. Great experience. I'm 6'2" so they added length, bigger grips, etc. I hit 6 sets before we came back to the ones I hit the best and felt best, Cleveland 588MT's.
O'yeah - I suck at golf! Inside 100 yards I'm OK, Chip's are solid, putting is OK, drives are inconsistent as hell.

Putting and chipping keeps getting better. Irons and drives still aren't great.

I average like 85 these days...when I actually get around to finishing 18. Lots of the time I end up playing 9-12 and get tired of being stuck behind slow people and quit. When you can finish 18 in 4-4.5 hours and you're only on 9 after 3, and people aren't letting you play through...

I wish I shot below 100. I average 110-120

I played in a fundraiser tournament last month, collectively our team shot an 85 I believe. We played best ball for every shot and I hated it.

Didnt really feel like golf to me

Golf is an endurance game. If you dont have the patience to focus for 5 hours, even if its from slow players, you have to adapt. Another componentthatmakes me like it actually. The mentally tough survive...

New handicap is a 19.
