Lightbulb Service advisor for Rockridge Two Wheels in Oakland

Rockridge Two Wheels - a full-service motorcycle and scooter dealership – is looking for a full-time service advisor to join our team. We have a positive, energetic, savvy and two-wheels-riding passionate crew, and we are searching for the right personality and skills to add to our mix.

About Rockridge Two Wheels: We have a variety of brands, including: Vespa, Aprilia, Piaggio, Kymco, and Royal Enfield. We’ve been open for 2 decades, serving Alameda County and surrounding areas. We recently moved into our new location at 65th and Shattuck where we are excited to settle in to our new digs. We have a strong team who looks forward to finding the right person to join us. This is a fantastic time to help us shape our new location.

The ideal candidate will have familiarity with motorcycles and scooters plus experience writing service for either a motorcycle or auto dealership. A positive attitude, great service personality, and ability to think on your feet are a must. While would prefer a candidate with experience at either an automotive or motorcycle service counter, we are open to training someone if we find the right person with the right attitude and potential.

Some of the skills we are looking for include:

· Familiarity with the repair of motorcycles and scooters

· A great front person for supporting and serving customers

· Excellent phone support skills

· Skills to act as a liaison between mechanics and customers

· Computer skills including the ability to create repair orders, develop standard jobs, etc

· Ability to check in motorcycles entering service department and recommend necessary repairs

· Resourcefulness to suggest accessories that may apply to customers vehicles

· Organizational skills to schedule work for mechanics

· Motivated and capable to work with minimal supervision once up to speed

· Abide by all dealership policies pertaining to the department

· Follow departmental dress codes and be well groomed at all times to be a quality representative of our brand

· Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole.

· Maintain a positive working relationship with all other employees.

Little bit far for me or else I'd absolutely apply. Love the shop and I think the atmosphere is perfect. Anyone who gets the position is one lucky person to work at such an establishment.
