Post new rider from East Bay

whats up everyone?

recently acquired 2004 Honda CBR600 F4i with 15K miles on it. It runs strong but looks horrible. previous owner downed it and fairings are pretty beat.
Slowly trying to fix it up on a small budget so if you have any stock F4i parts laying around for cheap please let me know.

Hope to see guys and gals out on the roads soon

The best performance upgrade is upgrading the operating system of the operator. It is cheap, easy, fast, safe and works on every bike you will ever ride.

My advice for any beat up old sportbike is to lean into it, make it as ratty as you can.

Focus on the mechanicals, make sure the brakes and engine and everything else is A+ but cracked/rashed fairings, sandpaper and rattlecan.

So far thats how it sits, everything is rattle canned black and the tank has a HUGE dent, every fairing piece is scratched or broken but its all there.

When i got the bike i replaced the front master cylinder for brakes as it was leaking, replaced the brake pads front and rear, cleaned, adjusted & waxed the chain.

the motor seems to run great however i no expert and eventually would like to have it looked over and see what all it needs to keep running trouble free for many miles.
