From my understanding, if your using a motorcycle company's financing program, it all depends on your credit history....

Honda's got the most highest standard

Yamaha's the second but a little bit more lenient....

Suzuki finance is about the easiest.....

Check different dealerships cuz just because one say's "no" it don't mean another can't....

FWIW, there's some technical loop holes as well that can be done to help a person get a loan....something about spreading the amount of dollar borrowed in different categories and then financed into one loan from one company....

Kawasaki should just give their bikes away just so people would own one in public.....

What I meant was, dealerships who will finanace you no matter what situation you have. Such as, no credit, bad credit and so on. They will give you a hight intrest rate but you still get financed. Theres one in San Diego, but you have to a be a San Diego resident to be able to get financed.

a lot of the dealerships don't actually make that decision. You fill out the app, the sales guy or finance person calls it in and it's at the finance company's discretion whether or not to finance you. When you're buying a bike, you may make the obvious choice to go with, for example, American Honda Financing for your new 600RR, but if you get turned down there's always other finance companies that are available to you. Just because you are buying a Honda doesn't mean that you can't get a Funancing Card from Conseco, a Kawasaki Rev Charger Card, or some other revolving credit to buy it. Ask your salesperson for ALL of your financing options...

Also, keep in mind that you may be able to get a loan from your own bank or a credit union more easily. Buying your money somewhere else can save you on a high interest rate that a dealer may push on you. Just because a dealer gets you approved for credit with a buy rate of 11.99% doesn't mean that you're not going to get it with 2% added in for dealer participation... it's just another thing that you may or may not be able to negotiate at the time of sale. Some programs don't allow dealer participation, so you get the credit at the buy rate.

there are multiple places out there that will finance you, no matter what your credit history is. You just have to realize that they are going to take your leg and both arms in finance charges. I few years back I was talking to this company that I found on the internet. They were happy to finance me. They didn't even miss a beat when they mentioned the 21% interest rate. I laughed at them .

If you really want to pay that kind of interest rates, just do a search on the internet.

They go through major lenders so it will be tough to get financed
with shaky credit.

I talked to a Honda dealer and he said with no credit established
you should go out and get a gas card or something that way you
have a history of credit.

Really? whoever you went through didn't shop around
for you to try and find someone to finance you. Did you
try Salina Cycle Center I think that's what it's called?
They deal with alot of different banks.
