how can you be so convinced you hate something that hasnt existed yet

FE doesn't seem to share all of its fans with F1. the fan base is new and younger. so perhaps FE will live as F1 and petrol racing dies. at a minimum, it'll live longer. the same may end up being true of MotoE.

Because it's not exciting to watch. The same reason the current F1 cars aren't. A part of the experience is the sound.

Yes as Stang says maybe MotoE and FE pull in a whole new generation of people who don't know or care about F1/GP of past and if that's their bet, so be it.

My bet is they lose a huge portion of current fan base and never recover it. Then slowly fadddeee away or at least just dwindle. It'll exist. But that's it.... Mere existence.

The vast overall majority of spectators are at home watching. Sound isnít a requirement.

Again you say itís not exciting to watch even tho it literally doesnít exist yet. Youvecliterallt never seen one yet

Put your money where your mouth is.

How about, $5000 - a 10 year bet. I bet Moto-E and Formula-E doesn't pull in even 60% of what F1/GP does today in terms of revenue. We'll check back in 2029.

I've raced against them Kevin. It's not exciting, not even riding next to an E bike. Fun to ride, boring to ride and race against.

you've never seen a MotoE race!

theres no "maybe" with FE. it already is pulling a different fanbase.

who is going to lose a huge portion of the fan base and when? that statement is very vague.

wut? uve raced against a MotoE bike that no one can buy?

your experience doesnt apply to the general population. its so far removed from the the avg fan experience. im not sure why u bothered to type it.

its a stupid bet that doesnt even support your original thought. GP won't be gone in 10yrs and MotoE will still be a feeder class. u just made up a sensational bet to save face.

I find it funny when curmudgeons irrationally hate on things they havent experienced yet.

What are you taking about? I've seen electric motorcycle races enough to know I don't like it.

Huh? I thought u were saying that no one would like it, so much that e-racing wouldn’t be a viable business. This thread isn’t about u. Or is it? Cmon, make up your mind.

I am saying that... how are you confused? Moto-E racing will not carry even 60% of the income or viewership that GP or F1 does. Even after F1 and GP go away, let alone before. The market they think they're catering to doesn't care, and the majority of everyone else thinks it's boring.... and it is.

That's what I've been saying and I don't really understand what you're confused about?
