Gig is out of town, truck is out of town. Was driving my car to the airport and gf was going to drive it back home.
I wish I was in the company truck, it probably wouldn't even have a scratch.
Chick was in a 1996 Jetta and she busted the radiator with coolant all over the ground. Didn't stop her from driving off though to meet whoever she was on her way to meet.

had a broken switch on the keyboard i gave to my coworker (the genius linguist), figured simple enough... disassembled the case and logitech's solder is some extremely high temp solder. My iron couldn't liquify it and it left the copper underneath singed. I don't use flux so I didn't have it handy. The copper oxidized and wouldn't solder. On top of that, one of the trace's on the circuitboard lifted/peeled away.

So now I have one key fixed (but LED under it not working) and one key that's completely dead and one key that's untouched that I'm debating against desoldering now. For the single lifted trace, I think I could just replace it with wire since this keyboard will go in the trash if it breaks in the future.

That sounds awesome!!! L is at the age where he can really start remembering these kind of trips. Did Ben ever take you to Theresa and Johnny's in san Rafael? They play old home nmovies of all their old camping trips.

do you know Cantonese or Mandarin BTW ANA... which one is better, you know?
what if I told you... one can learn Cantonese for free in SF but it's more expensive(comparatively) to learn Mandarin?

good to hear about Kuro that he's doing well. yeah if someone is bad to me on a forum I might leave it too

p.s. and yeah I know that old(er) settlers in SF are Cantonese, so hey.
no such thing as "better", Quentin!

for your daughter, it is better to learn Mandarin than Cantonese to transact business ... you are right about the settlers in SF. they do speak Cantonese. to most of you, they sound like they are having an argument or yelling at each other 99.9% of the time

me and the other half know know enough Cantonese to order good fudz at Chinese restaurants. we both get criticized by immigrants that we have an ABC accent, in Chinese

every bakery has their own routine. i don't know much about self-serve places so i can't really comment about the re-bagging of your selection. if you go to the bakeries on Irving or Noriega St in the inner sunset, you will get a fair price on what you buy. you can stuff your family's tummy with carbs for lunch for very little ($)

i could not believe it until. i saw it. one of the famous bakeries in S.F. Chinatown overprice basic stuff like bbq buns when it comes to tourists. what costs, like say $1.25, they charge $5 bucks for a bbq bun to a German tourist. what a ripoff. so Quentin, because you can pass as white, you will get ripped off. the last ounce of my innocence was stripped away after that incident. i was so mad.

G: I have noticed CycleSuzy posting in the PF thread. Do you have access? It's the same ole people posting in there. If you don't participate, it will never change. Think of it that way. I am so glad you are back after a hiatus G <3

No, I meant "two human sized-sandwiches".. sandwiches for grownups, AND two additional sweet buns cakes. With pineapple cream inside

thanks for the warning on overcharging ANA.. I've been to bakeries in two different parts of town, I think in one I made it out okay and in the other a native HK girl was in our group and got a box of the yellow custard cupcakes for everyone to eat.
