FS LEO Only: 24" RCB Baton and Rotational Holster

Almost new 24" (61 cm) RCB Expandable Baton, Electroless Nickel Finish and Basketweave Secure-Lock Rotational Holster for 24", 26" and 29" Baton for sale. Lateraled to a new agency that doesn't permit this baton.

This is by far the best collapsible baton on the market. You can read the reviews and testimonials all over the internet from other LEO's.

Prefer ftf sale with verified LEO credentials in the Bay Area. I can ship as well to an LEO agency address along with verification of LEO status.

Retail Price is $209 for these two items which includes tax and shipping. I'm asking $160 OBO.

I have a 26" version of this. I'm a baton instructor. IMO, they are hands down the best expandable batons on the market.

Just curious.

How often and when do you have a chance to use your collapsible baton?

Every chance I get.

Ok, but seriously, it's gonna depend widely on department, assignment, working conditions, criminal element, proactivity, skills of the officer both in using different force options and in verbally de-escalating circumstances, as well as just dumb luck.

I'm sure there are plenty of officers out there who have never used a baton on someone, expandable or otherwise.

If I remember correctly, I think I've used my baton on a suspect about six times in 23 years. There might be a time or two I'm forgetting. I've also deployed my baton a number of additional times where I didn't actually use it.

So it serves as a deterrent than an actual weapon.

Hmm.

I think women and girls ought to be able to carry them too. Keep the rapists and serial murderers at bay. As well as the jerks!!! Yeah. Scare and whip them into submission!

Thanks for the detailed reply.

Sure, any weapon can be a deterrent. I've pointed guns and tasers at people too without actually using them.

In California, batons are not legal to carry unless you are a peace officer or have a security guard card with a baton card, and that's only while working. So it's not a legal option for everyone else.
