Would've loved to see WinOrBin and Jack duke it out a bit more. 3 Ducati in an elbow to elbow battle with WinOrBin would have been epic.
While not on the podium, I have to be happy that Vale is once again the top Yamaha. Frustratingly, for the 2nd time Maverick gets taken out by a VR46 rider. I'm sure there's a conspiracy theorist out there that'll claim Vale has orchestrated it to keep Maverick down.
As for Petronas Yamaha; they're looking very promising. Morbidelli needs to work on tire management so he can go past lap 10 with the top guys and France Jr. (Quatararo) needs to get his starts together.
France Jr. was doing some quick times and charging up the back door like a true Frenchman.
If he can get his shit together he could put a dent into WinOrBin's run aways.

Seriously, dude? Imagine if Marquez was on a Ducati - good bye, send the champ trophy to dad in Cervera, and take a nap for the next 10 years.

As stated previously, people have a distorted memory of racing. Most races for the WIN are not actually that close. This was all about Ducati and how darn good their bike really has become. Shove VR on that Duc and even HE could get a podium, every race. (Just joking with you Rossi fans. "Don't have a cow, man.")

The same person getting all the wins is boring, even more so when you don't like the guy. Borenzo's wins were exactly that. Got a little old back in Rossi's day when he won damn near everything and beat 2nd place by 18 seconds, but most of the time (at his peak) he'd at least play with his prey and keep it entertaining.

Duc did a good job getting their bike competitive.

It was boring.

Top 5 qualifiers finished top 5, with slight changes in order.

Boring.

Curious to see the next round. I think this round being so cold helped KTM place higher.
Also... Joan Mir and Karel crashing on the WUP lap is just ridiculous.

John McPhee works his plan.

Friday morning opened with a shock in pit lane, when a marshal collapsed. He had suffered a heart attack, and did not survive.

And while he makes his way to the top of the Borgo Panigale summits, the idea that to win the world championship they need another Stoner, namely Magic Marc, Emilio thought up a good one: open up a path that could lead him to Ducati in 2021 by offering them another Marquez for next year: his brother!

"It's true, we're talking with Pramac," Alzamora confessed. "We have a nice friendship with them. It's normal that Alex is thinking about the possible options for switching to MotoGP. Of course, you have to earn a place in a satellite team and Paolo Campinoti's is a great team. Alex is still very young, but to get to the premier class, he has to find a good place..."

And a good bike. Like the Ducati. And Alex Marquez in Pramac would be a good Trojan horse.

You gotta kind of admire Alzamora. He's repping his client as best he can. Alex may have the same blood running through his veins, but he just ain't got that something you need to be at the top. And I doubt he ever will, otherwise it would have shown by now. Christ, he's been in the primo moto2 team for how long now??? So now he wins one race and Emilio's gonna dangle the obvious bullshit carrot of Marc to try to get his turd brother a GP ride.

Sadly, it might work. After all, it's hard enough to compete with Honda on engineering, how the fuck can you possibly beat them when they have a Marc Marquez riding it?

Even more sad, I hope Alzamora somehow makes it happen. Hopefully he's planting the seed in Marc's ear to get off the Honda, that he's proven all he can prove on the Honda, that going somewhere else and winning with another bike is the way to cement his legacy.

I just want to see good racing again. Quartararo can't mature fast enough....

So, can we, like, change the polls? Instead of wasting time listing the contenders, just post up 93 and by how many seconds/minutes.

True enough. Which is why I am always surprised that people want Rossi to keep winning - particularly 'ships. Not logical. Usually, VR won by a lot more, he just would slow down to ride safe. Very typical of racing in general, and MotoGP in particularly.

There was a LOT of bumping in that race. Very aggressive for the small bikes. If you think racing is rubbing, then this one was for you. No one got injured, so I am okay with it all.

The little brother ain't anyhthing like his brother. The Asparagus brothers are much more alike. I truly believe the fastest bike is the Ducati. This race makes my point. If you want to never see anyone but MM win, put him on that Duc. Otherwise, there is still a chance someone can beat him. No other Honda rider is doing squat compared to Marc. As a soothsayer, I predict Quartararo and Mir are not as good as their hype.

Let's bet on the Ducs, or how far back Maverick will fall back after a great practice session. He's such an empty leather suit. I smile every time VR beats him.

Now because all odds are against him. What other 40 year old has ever been this competitive, or even raced, at this level before on two wheels? Be great to see the old man win.

Exactly. He’s old, and in him, many see a battle against their own mortality.

Add to that the Agostini thing, and it’s a no brainer. I desperately want him to win one more, too. Do that, and I bet he’d retire soon after.
