Here are a few.

For fun, listen to the top one without the video and guess the number of singers in the group.

The Coathangers

(Might be a stretch to call this "metal", but very good, regardless.)

OMG - that was actually cute! Loved it. I hate to admit it, but that looks like fun.

Anneke! I am in love with her, BTW.

youtu.be/QNEYGTN_-30

Even though she has perfect pitch, she deliberately sings the first few bars something like a 1/4 tone flat, like Chris did.

I went to a show to see Battle Beast last year (SUOMI!) and left a Sabaton fan, they put on a damn good show, great energy.

Lol I like battle beast and Powerwolf and other power metal but Sabaton crushes them, especially live.

You should check out Gloryhammer if you haven't already

Really though, death and thrash metal are my jam.

I think I am the only person here who likes Black Metal!

Right now to me, any music that is not Black Metal sounds like Top 40.

It's like dumping dead meat at the brink of Styx
With a barge that we made of what was left of Yggdrasil
After veterans of spiritual revolts were done with their armchairs
And I don't even remember which brink is which

The odour of sanctity is just refined stench of existence
Shining pearl of Augeas' crown pales in comparison

--------

Here is the kenning for the "shining pearl of Augeas' crown" -> Mgla is talking about the dung in his legendary stables.

Battle Beast has been going downhill since Anton Kabanen got kicked out of the band and he started Beast in Black. Noora has huge talent, but she just doesn't seem to really want to be a metal singer. I've talked to her about it, and she is dodgy on the questions, but when the band found her, she was singing Janis Joplin songs on you tube, you know?

Gloryhammer is fun but kind fo goofy, like Boltthrower, right? Fun, but you have to be in the right mood a bit.

I am with you man. Grew up with Black Sabbath. Seeing them at Winterland in the mid 70ís engrained me some Black. The best Black Metal ever.

Joking around of course.... but they sort of invented this stuff in my mind and always had me join their shows locally every time they came through (not enough). That included when Dio joined. That was solid fun too. I really enjoyed the last time in SJ. They were great.

Fuck. That shit is over

Gloryhammer is like a power metal Bal Sagoth. They're not serious at all

Bolt Thrower are great old school death metal. They've got a ton of tracks you can bang your fucking head to.

Yeah, but the fact that they are singing about Khorne and shit just makes it kind of funny.

LOL, their stuff is cool! They formed the basis for most metal. Them and Zep.
