Racing starts at 4pm. You can get there whatever time you want. The earlier you get there the more runs you will be able to make. Eliminations start at 7pm. You want to get as many practice runs as possible. On a normal night you would get about 3 practice runs before eliminations.

Sacramento raceway Test n Tune days have no eliminations, just practice/fun runs all day. They will have one this Saturday April 27th 12-4 pm. $50.

I had to go to Palm Desert (girlfriends mom was in a car accident).....had to miss last night.
After last weeks rare first round break-out festival I'm dying to know how last night shook out.
How'd you do, Joe?

Hope she is alright.

Another night of long delays, more on that later. Did manage to make a total for 7 runs though. I won! Doug and I meet in the semi, we both broke out, but I was closer. Than a somewhat newbie made it to the finals against me. He wheelied off the line bad and that gave the win to me.

Glad you took the win, Joe!
....and yes, I wanna hear more about the delays...(I'll ask Lindz about it too....please tell me it wasn't more of the *friends of....* bullshit)
I'll be out there next week. Looking forward to talking with you.

Off topic: Mom is fucked up will be ok.....broken collar bone, broken shoulder, broken ribs.
She's 79 years old....it looks like all of the injuries were caused by the seatbelt/airbag. (The stuff worked, she's alive)

I'm going to need them. I know it will be a dogfight this year. Doug has had a ruff start so it is anybody's season right now.

I have joked out-loud in public about that P.O.S slow-ass jalopy self destructing half way down the track.
I was wrong on two counts.
1) I wasn't really serious
2) I said *half way down the track*...that shitbox didn't make 60 feet.

I've got a dinner thing in Concord with my girl tomorrow night for her work.
Good luck Joe. I'll be thinking about you.
The weather should be perfect!
