Watch the video again and still laugh. Good editing though.
It's funny that at about five minute mark, he says "it's ok, nobody knows." and then posts the video so everyone knows.
The SoCal Mulholland fairing wasting culture has been going on for decades. My best college friend was caught in a Rickeymouse video himself. They just found a way to monotize it. That's all. Insurance companies calculate their payout by state, that's why our CA insurance is so damn high, motorcycles are no longer transportation, and the motorcycle industry is going down the drain.
Question: with all the music sound effect, how do you know the frame is cracked? We are talking about the white 500 and not the orange HRC, right. And wouldn't the front rim bend before the frame crack when she hits the curb in the 1st drop?

Got it. Thanks. Watched again. The orange HRC frame crack appeared on the 3rd and the 4th drop. If the video drops were chronological, then he missed something obvious and let his GF rode with a cracked frame.

Do you mean Gary J? Years ago, he was on his Ninja 250 and he and I wicked it up. I was on my old 1gen SV. we —— were —— haaaauling ass on 84. Knees dragging and everything. It was probably the fastest I’ve ever ridden that road.

As much as BARF is judgmental, I’ve been on enough BARF rides or rides with BARF’ers to know that there are a ton of hypocrites on this forum. So many riders pass cars on solid yellow, nearly kill themsselves by riding over their head... to this day I still see that shit. It’s kinda why I like riding crappy, pothole filled apocalypse roads with tight turns where I know sprotbiles wont be on.

That day I rode with Gary at that speed, I ain’t proud of. I can join the soap box club and be a hypocrite, too. But God knows that back in the day, that kind of riding and messing around with G-Force (mate) and the rest of that Hwy9 racers, I cannot down talk this behavior because I did it like maaaaany BARF’ers did/do. I rode like a maniac at one time and glad I can talk about it past tense. Now, I’m stoked to ride my cruiser with my wife.

Yes... a Maxwrist ride.

This is interesting. MSF Instructor / Fire Fighter who does medical trauma evaluation.

It has some good info on how to handle a crash and it while it is pointed to EMT's it is good stuff.
It also shows what happens when the public shows up after they have been passed at high speed.
Commentary on the Political aspects of being a road warrior like Max.

Yes, the one and only. I was fortunate enough to ride with him regularly.

I'm envious.
I wish I had taken more advantage of the opportunities I had to ride with him. He put on a humbling clinic with every ride.
The old phrase "You don't miss something until it's gone" applies to Gary in so many ways. He was truly one of a kind.

Good video. A bit of forethought about accident management and first aid can go a long way. Group rides can be very bad for your health.

I'm not sure rider's give enough consideration to the potential of life altering outcomes and regret from excessive speeding. I mostly just cruse these days.

I agree... I sent to a friend who is headed to train as an EMT with a future fire fighter career. An EMT friend of hers said is was good info.

For sure getting some basic knowledge to put in your tool box is worthy.
