Leslie Marie Martinez-Malansing

My 2nd eldest sister, Leslie, died of liver failure yesterday (Manila time) due to Cirrhosis. We were told last week she had about 3-5 years to live. So, her sudden passing was a big shock to my family. Maybe it was best she had passed away sooner as I was told she was in tremendous pain. No more pain now...

I wish I had a chance to have said good-bye to her while she was still living. I only have 2 more months of school, then I was planning to go to Manila for a few weeks. I feel robbed.

She will be missed. She had a big heart, a big laugh and a big smile. I got my good looks and awesome personality from her, don't cha know.

It sucks to have a big family. I have 4 brothers and 4 sisters. 1 down... 7 more plus my 2 parents to go...

RIP Leslie Marie Martinez-Malansing
Jan. 15, 1961 - Aug. 03, 2007

She leaves behind 6 children.

Thank you, everyone, for your support and prayers. I really appreciate it.

Good-bye, sis. Leslie...

3 of my beautiful sisters...

(L to R) Me, Lanie, Joy and Leslie

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Hope the family stays strong and remebers the departed in all her glory.

Cirrhosis (the liver shrinking or becoming unable) sounds bad. I heard of someone else who pased away recently beacuse of it.
