regarding sonnen, I LOVE sonnen, but heres why: dude is so obviously trollling. he isnt even close to serious. hes a massive troll that no one in silvas camp nor in the media have realized is trolling. I always knew it, but at the last presser when he said

"And I'll tell you something else, I think it's disgusting, I think it's an embarrassment to the sport and himself that he'd come around with that fake belt when the entire world watched me defeat him on live TV."

I agree these are the top guys in their divisions. But, one of the things I think we can all appreciate about MMA is that anyone can win on any given day.

you need to watch the silva documentary that was filmed leading up to that fight. a lot of people say silva was losing the rounds but unless you see the docu you would never realize he was taking the shots from sonnen to prove a point. he may of been losing the rounds but he knew exactly what he was doing.

What point was he trying to prove? That Sonnen can't hit hard? I haven't watched that fight so I can't think of any other reason.

Sonnen is a cheater through and through. Performance enhancing drugs and a conviction for money laundering / mortgage fraud just to name two. Sure he can run his mouth and sell tickets, and yes he is a very good wrestler, but overall I just don't care for the guy.

did not catch her on TUF. The Tate/Rousey fight was insane though .

I wonder if she has a bf or dating...I'd be in constant fear for my appendages. BJJ students sometimes put their SO in loosely held back mounts and chokes when asleep. Happened to me only once so far with the mrs. I made sure to wake her up gently to avoid a panicked squeeze

did either of you actually see the documentary? in training camp when they sparred he would practice taking hits to toughen himself up. not just little training hits but full on guys in full mount pounding on silva who would take the beating for a min then either submit the guy pounding on him or get back to his feet.

they actually explained it better in the video better then i can here, but like i said before even if you don't like silva watch the vid. it's a very good look into what a world class athlete goes through before a fight.

Yep. He does do that. It's the WWE fanboy in him (don't mean "fanboy" as a negative). He understands the business/entertainment side of the MMA. And, he is VERY good at it.

Win or lose, Silva should be thanking him for how fat his wallet is getting off this guy!

Regarding TUF, siciliano was too loose, to wild. He had mad power and striking, but sloppy defense. He never should have got caught with that head kick. His striking defense sucked.

Shoulda gone to a third round, tho. They should change the rule next year to have it so that if there's a split decision (not just a draw) after two rounds that there will be a third. Dunno if it would have changed the outcome.
