A cool sign on the way back. A trail bike would've been a great bike for this road.

I ride the rest of the way on pavement. Glorious pavement! I keep flashing back to the part in the movie "long way around" where the guys are so happy to be on pavement that they look like they want to kiss it. I know exactly how they felt! I DID want to kiss the pavement (but I didn‚€™t, honest!). I later learned that this road is a total speed trap. The patron saint of dumb luck was on my side today because I got through this ordeal unscathed and un-ticketed! Lesson learned (I hope!).

Those real "adventure riders" are something else. They rate this road as "easy." But, that's with knobbies! And knobbies are for... j/k!

Hope you enjoyed the pics! That all folks!

PS, I made it out alive!

Having ridden a loaded-up VFR a mere 16 miles on a slippery, tilty, twisty (but well-graded) road in Montana, hell, I feel a little of yr titanic struggle with the dirt!
