~Pics - Barf Rally on my touring beast. 9/5-9/7/08

Huge thanks to Tom and Dennis for setting this up, you guys are awesome!!!!!

Great job Mark on the 's on the way there too!

Thank you Michael (TripleThreat) for leading our group to and fro, and most important, thank you for hooking me up with my lil Beastie!!!
I loves it so very much, perfect for the track, touring and all around.

The southbay group had great time, we kinda rolled separate from the main group, had a blast, good times all!!!

Here are some pan's......

"we" decided to take the more exciting way into Bodie off of 167 instead of wrapping around 395. It was 3 miles of "pavement" and 7 miles of fun washboard rocky loose dirt.

one of those whirl wind money things inside the casino, there's a 100 in there too!

after our last trip on 167 from Hawthonrne to Lee Vining to breakfast, a quick de-bugging was in order.
I held the beastie WOT the whole way, for 55+ miles, sadly I didn't reach my top speed from the previous day of......100.:| Those dang hills just slow me right down...and the high elevation sure doesn't help.

Sonora pass......

is so beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice pics, wish I went. (ok, no, not really - I don't do mornings nor 300+ mi/day rides. )

Still nice pics!!

And a great tribute to our own RydTher - Bill - for whom this Rally was named...
