Mellow Group Ride - Sunday 7/31

Meet Place: Starbucks (1197 East Calaveras Boulevard, Milpitas, CA 95035)
Meet Time: 9:00 AM, kickstands (KSU) up 9:30 AM (Please be on time)

NOTE: Stop in Castro Valley for Thai food. LINK

  • Arrive with a full tank of gas. There is a station across the street from Starbucks.
  • Make sure your bike is in good operating condition.
  • As usual we will break into groups depending on who shows up (to accommodate varying skill levels) if necessary. Everyone is expected to ride within their comfort level.
  • Safety is our priority.
  • Experienced riders who wants to ride a mellow pace are always welcome.
  • Volunteers for lead and sweep always welcome and appreciated.
  • Goal is for newbies & not so newbies to have a safe fun ride, learn new routes and meet new riders. Maybe, even learn from the more experienced riders.
  • We will be making 3 planned stops to regroup and stretch any soar legs.
  • All riding levels are welcome, Mellow pace required. PM or post if you have concerns.

Route: (75 Miles, 3 hour seat time.)

Calaveras, Palomares, Redwood, LUNCH, Palomares, END.

Sounds great! I'm in if someone wants a pillion. I'll chip in for gas.

Soar legs ... hehe

No ride this Sunday, the 24th?

Hmm. I'll come out for this

Will bring the new GS since my R6 is pissing up water/water wetter
Man.. me and leaky vehicles. Story of my life.

Anyhow, if you don't find a more exciting ride Miri, we can see how the GS fares 2-up
At the very least, it has a more comfortable seat and you won't fall off backwards thanks to the top case
Also has about half the ponies, and is rather new-to-me

I'll be there! I will cut out at the end of Redwood/Skyline blvd as I live closer there and won't make the return trip back down!

This gives me six days to sort out one of my two bikes that have been crapping out. Been awhile since I've done any proper riding at all.
