Stonyford Trip #3 Thursday thru Sunday October 23-26, 2014

Stonyford trip #3 Date is set. Everyone is invited for this epic dirt bike outing. If you havent attended one yet this trip is a must. Last 2 we had amazing conditions and amazing people. Lets see if we can make this the biggest dirty barf trip yet. so come and ride before the winter time change, have a few beers and sit by the fire with your fellow barfers. Bring family, friends, whoever. there will be riders of all skill levels too. I will be there thursday afternoon to unlock the gate for everyone to get in. first right before the davis flat camp area. 20$ pays your rent for the weekend. lets get dirty

DIRECTIONS
From the South: From Interstate 5 take Exit 586 for Maxwell Road. Travel west for approximately nine miles to the town of Sites. At the junction turn right turn onto Sites-Ladoga Road and travel for about 15 miles to the town of Lodoga. Turn right at the junction, cross the bridge onto Ladoga-Stonyford Road and travel for approximately eight miles to the town of Stonyford. Turn left at the stop sign, drive two blocks north to Fouts Springs Road and turn left. Travel on Fouts Springs Road/Forest Road M10 for nine miles. Turn right onto Forest Road 18N03 towards Davis Flat and drive approximately 1/2 mile. Turn right at the locked gate; this is the entrance to Gray Pine.

From the North: From Interstate 5 take 162 West from Willows and travel 23 miles. At the junction turn left onto County Road 306/Stonyford-Elk Creek Road and travel about 18 miles to the town of Stonyford. Turn right onto Fouts Springs Road/Forest Road M10. After about nine miles turn right onto Forest Road 18N03 towards Davis Flat and drive approximately 1/2 mile. Turn right at the locked gate; this is the entrance to Gray Pine.

Campground: May 23 2008 - Dec 31 2050 : Access into the campground is by combination lock (0361).
Fireworks are always prohibited on National Forest lands.

It was parked outside the motorhome most of the time, readily available. We brought it in at night so it wouldn't freeze.

I'll definitely have beer next time. Worry not.

In! I've done a lot of November and December rides at Stony. You never know what you're going to get. Warm and dusty, deluges of biblical proportions, too much snow to get to the staging area… Doesn't matter what you get, it's all good!
