Mickey had no shortage of tennis ball throwers to play with her this weekend (the caterers in the background picking up their equipment after we all had a very satisfying bbq dinner!)

The lead up to the rally had the mods poking fun at me (I'm looking at you Enchanter) a few examples:

I decided to take the long way to Weaverville, via Ebbetts Pass, I was having too much fun on Ebbetts pass to stop and take photos, once I got to South Lake Tahoe, the first 10 miles were behind a Sheriff's Deputy following a tourist doing half the speed limit. As a result, I decided to stop and take a photo!

From South Lake Tahoe, it was on to another BARF Rally favorite, Quincy, where I would spend the night. A familiar sight, and lunch/dinner combo since I skipped lunch that day:

A shade under 350 miles on the first day!

From Quincy, I headed out to Lassen Volcanic National Park, just before 7am. I decided not to layer up, since I figured it would be hot... big mistake, I was freezing most of the way until I got to I-5 later that day.

Stopping in a sunny patch of road to warm up a bit:

Almost there!

Ahh... that's the stuff!

Lassen has some sweet curves:

There's still snow up there!

I took CA-36 to Weaverville, to stop at the "twisties next 140 miles" sign. But sadly, the sign wasn't there!!

We were staying at the 49er Gold Country Inn, and guess who got the gold?

Under 200 miles on Day 2 giving me a total of just slightly over 631 miles for 2 days!

One of the guys found out that Budman was there in spirit!

On Saturday, we found Mean Dad being a stereotypical Harley rider:

Pay attention or you will miss it!

FreeRyde's Shitbike 3.0:

Saturday was a short loop with Frozenuts, we didn't stop to take too many photos. There were some potholes along the way that were super deep... this was one of the rare piece of road that was pristine:

Middle of nowhere, goaty road, or goaty road? Yes, please!!

Finishing Day 3 with almost 742 miles total:

After lunch, Frozenuts and I decided to cool off with some ice cream:

Hey mlm, is that a Zubat in your pants or are you just glad to see me?

The gang enjoying the catered bbq dinner:

There's a Nidorano wanting some chips:

On Sunday, time to head home. I rode out with Lunch Box heading West on 299... we split up at Garberville and I decided to slab home on 101. I was regretting that choice once I got to Hopland. So hot, I decided to grab lunch just outside of Hopland... burger and a strawberry shake to cool me down:

The grand total for 4 days of riding:

I had a blast, there are more roads to explore up there. I will definitely be back out there!

I found this on the road.

Saturday loop.

Then this happened.

Apparently, someone thought my Trinity six fiddy was lacking in farkles. So they redecorated it.

The morning after.
