The essence of motorcycling, a midweek ride
Took the GB out for some twisty road fun today, through Angwin's redwood forest ......
  .......then swooping down Howell Mtn. Rd into Pope Valley.    We stopped to admire an old barn......  ......then it was on towards home, taking in the scenery both roadside and reflected in my tank.   GB and I roll back home, a vintage guy and a vintage bike having enjoyed the essence of motorcycling. Time for happy hour.  -Bill |

Very cool. I remember back in...... 1992 (?) when Golden Gate Cycles had 2-3 GB's at the dealership and could not get rid of them. They offered one to me for $1900.00
I had recently purchased a Yamaha FZR400 and I had no room to buy another bike. Interestingly enough, they also had an '89 TransAlp and a '90 TransAlp that they also couldn't sell. Interesting times. |
