I spoke with some folks from Modoc County. They really want us back. :)


***Their county is about 1/3 vaccinated as of right now. I figure by August a fair number of us will have received our vaccine and we may be able to hold this rally without posing a risk to ourselves or the local community. Plus the state owned fairgrounds facility needs to be open to public use.***


AND SO, I am tentatively saying we're going to be in Cedarvile August 12-15 in time for the height of the Perseids Meteor showers.

This year, I would like to get a local club or civic organization in to make us dinner so we can help local organizations make some money. The people of Modoc seem to like us so let's engage with the community.

More details to follow. I really hope we can do this this year.

we'll see ... this is one of my all-time favorite rallies. :teeth

I'm fully vaccinated and Cary's going to the Coliseum tomorrow for her first shot ...

super excited for rally, rally, rally ... :banana

Nice variety of (dual sport) riding options in a camping/glamping event. Ride in or trailer in. Most ride.
Camp in CA with NV 10 miles away and OR about 50 miles.
Dirt track mountains with trees and streams.
Desert with dirt, sand and sage brush.
High Rock Canyon.
Possible bike eating water crossings.
Hot Springs to the South, East and North.
Hot showers.
And in August the Cottonwood trees will have already done their fluff thing. (source)

Maybe if I offer SFMCjohn a floor for a night I can follow him through the Nevada desert to Cedarville? Good thing I’ve got the time to ride with John.
