FYI Supermoto USA round 3 is coming up September 4-5. It will be at Simraceway the kart track at Sonoma Raceway. BTW the Streets of Willow event was awesome just hot.

Also there will be a supermoto class taught by Gage McAlister if you are interested. Yep that Gage the dude that wins the pro/expert races.

Also for Sunday's races, looks like there will be a dirt section. I've never done the dirt section at Sonoma before should be fun it's probably going to be really short.

It is short, but at least it's there.
It's on the stretch just after the exit of T-1 where the little concrete grand stands. are. It's usually two quick turns with a decent sized jump in between.

9/4 Supermoto Race Clinic

Saturday's Track day will also have an opportunity for 10 participants to take part in some quality coaching from 6 time AMA Pro Champion Gage McAllister Get Ready for the weekends racing or tune up your skills. This group is designed for those with some racing, or at least significant track experience that want to improve lap times. In between track sessions, you'll be in the classroom breaking down lines and working on strategies to improve your performance. The total cost for the 4.5 hour gig is only $150. This includes the $60. fee. So its actually only ninety bucks!

Thought I was in second gear and gave it beans. Turned out I was in first gear and too many beans. Clutch dump hello sky

Not a good start. Beans everywhere.
 
Launching minis is actually very difficult, the wheel base is very short so they'll come up very easily. I tried to drag race my KLX140 one night at Wednesday Night Drags and it was so hard to not get it to wheelie. I have to make sure I slip the clutch a lot.

The only good thing is yeah it's small you can make it a little better by trying to put all your weight on to the handle bars.
