Starting with this post as first prep step -
Idea: I wanted to take some time off, a week or two, and do a nice trip down the coastal line to Oregon to see a friend and his family in Camas, OR, from there go to Hope, BC, Canada (why - looks like fun to me, and have a cold one in Stallones, take a picture here - https://maps.app.goo.gl/dEZXjqrnwNFFBc6A6).
Tentative Plan:
2 days to get to Camas, primarily cover coastal line - stay around New Port; but not set yet, I would like to arrive to Camas relatively early afternoon
Spend 2 nights at Camas, hang with friends
On the 3rd day in Camas head over to Hope, spend 2 nights there
Road back to the bay, most likely hwy 5, 2 days..
So, thinking - leave Friday, arrive Camas Sunday, leave Camas Wednesday, arrive Hope Wednesday, leave Hope Friday, home Sunday.
Something like that.. supercharged rally..
