I've got a 97 yz 250 w/o a kickstand. Is there anyway that you can add one, say, from a newer model yz or something? Has anyone ever done this with any bike?

You can get a generic clamp-on swingarm stand, or a model-specific frame mount stands. Check out Trail Tech for your 97. I think there's one other company that does frame mounts, too.

kickstand 96-01 YZ250

Yes, you can add one, I added one to my bike, you just have to find the one that is made for your bike.

check out ebay - type in YZ125 YZ250 YZ 125 250 kickstand 96-01
or Item number: 280136383532

Also, the YZ WR's had kickstands, you might look that route, but Moose Racing or any other aftermarket dirt supplier should have something.

Thanks. I looked into it at road rider and they had one for about $100+. I just bought a triangle for $10.

Could probably find one cheaper on ebay though.

Maybe later down the road if I get really annoyed w/ not having one.
