yep. looks like u had a bit more mid-corner speed than me in a few spots around the track. u got real close before running off there. but my exits were better, which may be due to me being in the way, hehe.

here's another vid. my new GPS laptimer is working great and its making it a lot easier to figure out the actual results of setup changes, different approaches to corners, and how well im using the brakes or throttle. this is the first time ive had to learn a new track after working with Ken Hill and his teachings def made it easier to get up to speed. i know there are still some tricks to learn around Laguna, but im reasonably happy w/ my trackday performance, hehe.
oh, u prob want to turn down the volume. i didnt edit the vid other than the overlays and the camera vibration is way loud.

WERA at Autoclub:
had my best club racing weekend ever in Fontana. got 2nd and 3rd in two pretty good sized races. i even got some tire money out of one of them. i lost one lead to a red flag, but still had fun all weekend.

AFM at Buttonwillow:
last race of the year and i blow it
. highsided coming out of T2 in Sat practice. i was wheeling out of there all the prev laps, so i was a little surprised when the rear stepped out w/ no warning. a lot of people went down there and some kicked up some sand/dirt. meh, ill learn and the bike isnt too bad. but i gotta wait a bit now...
boxers fracture. thankfully the bone is straight in the cast and i only gotta wait another 3wks to get it off. but shit, i cant ride, cant rock climb, and i write software for a living. ugh!

Sorry about your crash. I just joined BARF to flood my brain with info. I just read your thread from the beginning. I enjoyed it put together nicely. I also just realized you helped answer my first question about flashing a ecu and pc5. Thank you

Heal quick. My racing buddy does software as well and his big fear is injuring his hands. How has that been for work? I tell him he can always get a Speech-to-Text program. ha.

thnx guys.
typing isnt too bad right now. ive got 8 useful fingers but can only type w/ 6-7 because the cast gets in the way and i cant bend my wrist. im prob typing around 60% speed. it sucked the other day when i needed to pound out 2000 lines of code. but normal bug fixing works fine.
cast comes off in 12 days.
