Do you ride your sports bike on the track? Looking for volunteers to help develop aftermarket accessory

Yes, a lot of bikes even maxxed out are not loud enough so I am definitely looking for a very small subset. In any case, thank you so much for speaking with me!!

You're welcome!

Also, FYI, they do have more 105db days there now where blowing sound is less of an issue, and as I understand it they have made a few changes to the way the sound is measured which I think makes it a little easier to comply.

You might contact the local motorcycle track day organizations to see how many people are getting popped for sound these days.

Also, I would hope most folks make a real effort to quiet down any really loud bikes, because who wants to listen to that crap? I mean over the years I've heard some bikes at the track that have like no muffler, and it's just stupid. Go to a pro road race and you won't hear any bikes like that. Thankfully I havent heard any of those ear splitting idiots lately. A proper muffler is best, but there are various baffles and DB killers available to take the edge off and most folks put those on for Laguna.

Some random thoughts.

Sounds like (no pun intended) a electro-mechanical device used attempt to quiet the exhaust down. Many people just use an add-on exhaust tip (car and motorcycle) to point the exhaust exit away from the sound cart. They are pretty effective. There is a device called The Track Nanny for some Porsche's. It uses GPS to close the OEM valves in the exhaust as the car goes by the sound cart. I'm lucky that my car doesn't trip the cart at Laguna even when the exhaust valves are open. I have two motorcycles with valves in the exhaust, but the $50 exhaust tip modification / addition was enough to pass sound.
