Dollar Shave Club

I also like the Harry's razors.

After reading this, I'm going to have to try the facewash and the aftershave.

You get three months out of a single Mach 3 cartridge? Does your face not even grow hair? I get 5-7 days max before it starts shaving like crap.
My beard grows pretty fast, I can grow a decent beard in about 3 weeks.

After about 3 weeks it doesn't have the incredible sharpness that it originally had, but it then stays at the level of being effective up through 3 months at which point it starts to degrade.

It's probably like really sticky racing tires where you have the one or two incredible laps, then another 12-15 laps of not incredible stickiness but still decent grip, then it drops off after that.

Blades will last a lot longer if you blow them out with compressed air when you are done shaving. I don't think I ever got that many months out of any blade.

Just keeping them dry is the key part. Press them on a towel/tissue/TP after use (and rinsing out the cut hairs that get stuck in the blades).

A new blade shaves a few seconds off shaving and for me that worth frequent blade replacement. I don't bother with trying to dry them off but maybe I need to keep a can of compressed air on hand just for that and see if I can cut my costs in half.

Whatever happened to safety razors? I use one and LOVE it! Haven't looked back and am saving a crap ton of money.

I go Bic dispoables don't shave as much as I used to.
prolly won't die from p-straight cancer either.

Have used a mach 3 for years and the price of blades is astounding. So being extremely smart I ordered a bunch off of ebay for a pittance. Now I know what shaving with a cheese grater feels like.

Harry's huh? Ima gonna check it out.

edit:
Ordered it.

I'm looking forward to your opinion. I've offered to purchase whatever my friends get if they don't like them and have yet to buy any from them.

Another vote for Harry's...
Been using them for over a year now... great stuff. Also their gel/foam or shave cream are pretty good as well, I prefer the gel/foam stuff myself. Get their starter kit and you won't look back.

Use: TWIT5 for $5 off your first purchase.

Hmmm, never heard of Harrys.... they are offering a free trial. Will check this out and report back... :thumbup

I got married in 2006. On that day, I bought a pack of 8 Mach 3 replaceable blades. I remember giving two to my wife a few years ago. I'm still on my last one. I shave every week or so, sometimes every ten days. It still shaves good enough for me. I don't get razor burn and the hair gets cut. I don't understand why everybody replaces their blades so often.

So you are getting almost a year per blade? :wow I go a month plus shaving my face and head daily with the Harry's. When I used the Mach 3 and Fusion they lasted slightly less than a month. I rinse and shake them dry after every shave. I think the amount of hair one grows plays a significant role in how long a razor will last.
