Esteban Guitar on HSN, Any Good?

I think you could do better. I think I recognize that guitar. I used to sell them for about $75. I believe they are usually sold under the name "MAXAAM" or something similar.

You can get a fairly good acoustic at Guitar Center for less than the cost of the Esteban package and have money left for instructional DVD's.

Crap, total crap. Ive been playing guitars and basses for most of my life (yea, I'm a cop that studied music his whole life lol). If you are serious about learning to play a guitar, then spend a little more and get a quality guitar.

One of the problems you are going to get with the cheap guitars is lack of comfort. As you spend more money, you will notice that guitars become more comfortable, have less string buzz on the neck, and its easier to actually hold the strings against the neck.

When you buy a real cheap product, you end up with a good case of tendonitas alot of times.

Go down to guitar center, have them recommend a good comfortable "starter" guitar....that is a decent name brand. When you see something on TV that you don't find in a music store...there is a reason. It's not going to sell in the store, because musicians know its crap.

This is no different than buying one of those computers from those infommercials at night time. Those computers are so outdated that they aren't worth the money you are spending on them.

That was just my 2 cents.

goto guitar center, then you can see and feel exactly what you are buying, no surprises. WHen it comes to things like this,I hate buying it online, you never know what you'll get.

you should buy it, only if it comes with a fake stevie ray vaughn suit like that fucktard salesman wears. then at least you could walk around the beach and earn some moneys without playing!

Seagull makes some nice guitars for cheap, also i hear a lot of good things about Yamaha acoustics.

look for guitars with a solid top (made with a single piece of wood). they tend to sound better.

But again you should go try the guitars out, Even guitars that are the same model can sound different.

Get a Carvin. They're relatively inexpensive and they're excellent guitars. They've got a real good sound.
