Good tuners in the Bay Area? Preferable East Bay?

I'm considering a Bren tune for my 2015 BMW S1000RR which seems to be the recommended tune of choice on these bikes. Still have to decide on their Stage 1 or Stage 2 package.
Their procedure is that they sell me a handheld tuner, I download the stock map from the bike, send to them, they tweak it and send it back, which I then transfer to the bike using the handheld tuner.
I sorta feel like something's being left out in this process, what about the O2 sensors, or something else that may need adjusting that I'm not aware of?

Hence my question - Is there a good tuner in the area who could help me out?

Well, the best tuner in the Bay Area is Marc Salvisberg at Factory Pro/Wheelsmith Racing. I'd call him up and have a chat with him or Raul.

I emailed Marc to see what he says. At the very least maybe he could check the tune that's on there now, dyno the bike to see what power it's making and perhaps make a few adjustments to optimize performance.
I'm not looking to cut tenths of seconds off of lap times, just want to get the most of of the bike. if he tells me he can't make any noticeable improvements and I'm throwing my money away going to him, that will be good to hear also.
Thanks again Lucy

+1 for Marc at Factory Pro/Wheelsmith racing.

Marc is a standup guy. Not sure if he's doing ECU tuning on these or piggyback?

FWIW, I don't find Brentune to be all that responsive or helpful for some questions, but I have his tunes in my 16 and 21 and they seem to work very well. I thought about before/after dyno testing, but would rather spend that money on tires...

You might want to look into California law. Basically making ANY changes to the fuel air ratio (called tuning) is totally illegal here, and any shop doing so can face a six figure fine. Seriously.

Marc won't tune your bike. There may be one or two sketch shops that will, but most shops will be put out of business by the fine.

This does not apply to race bikes. If your bike is a race bike, set up as a race bike and obviously not a street bike, you can get a tune.

I was afraid of that. Probably explains why he didn't respond to my email earlier this week.
I'm on a couple of S1000RR forums that are nationwide/worldwide and those guys can do things I can't.
I should just stick to BARF

Marc is still around. I just talked to him about getting a custom Dyno tune on my race only bike and he ask me to bring it down to his shop. I kept calling a few days in between until he answered the phone.

I would call and not email. 2013 Triumph Daytona 675 with pc5

Motorcycles don't need smog inspection so i would go with whatever tuner is willing to make changes.
